the french german joke was to do the stigmata left after WWII, since britain was hit bad. and though this skit was probaply done in the 80's it was still british humour to make fun of the french

I'm glad. My apologies, it's sometimes difficult to tell with this YouTube whether people are just having a laugh, or are mortally offended !I'm trying to think of something witty to say in French, but my knowledge of the language is terrible.
