No, free radical chlorine atoms from CFC's are causing the hole. The ozone is several kilometres up, while CO2 is a heavy gas and doesnt rise nearly that high. CO2 causes temperature increase, the thinning of the ozone allows more UV in which causes skin cancer.Repeat after me everyone. The Greenhouse Effect and the Ozone have nothing to do with each other.

Clearly, polar bears make great pets. Perhaps we could save them by welcoming them into our homes.

cfc's otherwise known as chlorofluorocarbons caused the hole in the ozone layer they are found in refrigerators and so are still being used the hole of the ozone is currently above the northpole and many people livin under the hole are gettin skin cancer due to dangereous uv light from the sun

cluorofluorocarbons cused the ozone hole, and since they were banned, the hole has shrunk. it is one of the greatest triumphs of the environmental movement, you should read about it.carbon dioxide is not a clurofluorocarbon, and vice versa. the problem and solutions are entirely different.

Sad day when even fellow human beings aren't willing to diminish their own carbon footprint because they don't think they have one. Have a nice day. |
