statistics shows that at least one third of all people simply do not understand satire... It must be the fluoride in the water or something making people this stupid, even folks I'm suppose to agree with, Steven Colbert satirized the neocon argument that Ron Paul is crazy, I agreed with Colbert that he is not, but at least one third of all text responses to the video were from people angry at Colbert for talking smack about Ron Paul. Although I know you aren't a fan of his.

Very witty satire. The common arguments surrounding race seem to inevitably revolve around the non-sequitor "Because I'm Black". You must be a victim... I can tell, because you're black.

Oh that was some perspective!!I am lilty white,was with an Obama/Raced Partner for 12 yrs.,passed 1-27-2007 at age 45. He raised two Blonde haired, blue eyed boys, 2006 our last x-mas 2006 my X (Scotch) My sweetie + our two sons+ the ones gay partner.The DVD I have of that X-mas shows us all loving enjoying each other.

It's kinda sad that most people aren't intelligent enough to understand the message that you are trying to convey. It's one thing to let others try and hold you back. It's a whole different ball game when you hold yourself back. I am white but I live in a "diverse neighborhood" I hear this excuse a lot. In fact the other day I was walking down the street in Oakland, CA and a young girl couldn't be more then 7 years old, out of nowhere calls me a devil! (I didn't respond)These types of events tell me that hatred is being taught at a young age. Those young people may grow up to think that all of their problems in life can be dismissed because of racism. when in fact racism is just one of the many problems they will face
