Was it just me, or did it seem like Eubanks aged rapidly around the mid-seventies? I wonder if he exaggerated his age like so many others around that time.

Bob Eubanks was such a natural host. This turned out to be one of the greatest game shows of all time. I wish they would bring it back.

In "The Graduate," when Benjamin is picking up Elaine for their first date, Mrs. Robinson is watching "The Newlywed Game." Also--in the film "The Only Game in Town"--when Elizabeth Taylor and Warren Beatty walk by a bank of new television sets in the department store/supermarket, all the tv sets are turned to "The Newlywed Game" (you can see one of the wives hitting her husband with the cards). It's cool!
