Samuel Peter did not show up in Berlin that night. I have followed both mens careers and knew that if Vitali came back at 80% or more of his former self then Peter could not win. But if Peter had come in physically and mentally ready it would have been an interesting bout and Peter would have made it interesting with his power punching and bullyboy style. As it was Vitali literally crippled him indefinately with a shockingly humilating domination of a champion supposedly in his 'prime'.

peter was dazed early by vitalis power and never had a chance to recover because vitali battered him solidly for 8 rounds. im sick of hearing about david haye aswell. yea, he'll get in close to either klitschko better than peter managed but then he'll get dropped by their power. peter has a very good chin, haye doesnt. haye has barely any chance IMO
