Yeah, yeah, Mozart, whatever u say.I dont think it is a great song, but from what I've read, the concerto was Eric Carmens favorite piece, all categories. He wrote the song in admiration, and they still do new recordings of it, so someone has to like it. If you can laugh at it, it may be to some use even for you :)

Apparently you don't know anything about Classical music or the Russian composers. Why else would you dare to compare Rachmaninoff to Christopher Cross. Cross was a mere pop artist; while Rachmaninoff was one of the greatest composers of all time. Rachmaninoff is also the major source for the score to the movie Somewhere in Time that starred Christopher Reeves and Jane Seymour.
