the problem with finger picks is they can slip or fall off especially with this picking intensity.and as for hygene john polished his nails every day with an acrylic hardner and filed them to keep them in good shape aswell as to keep them strong.. if anything he had cleaner nails then most people

wow this song is definitely one of my favorites of all time. every time i listen to it it makes me want to pick up a guitar and play. i'll never be as good as John Butler but by god I can try.

alot of yall are missing the point. Its not about the way yall look, or he looks. Its about music, its about emotion, its about connecting and hearing every word he says in this clip. If yall are focusing on his finger nails, or his dreadlocks or whatever then get over it. This song says so much if yall would just listen.
